($60) Opaque ruby. Deep, smoky aromas of pure blackberry and boysenberry, complicated by sexy notes of cocoa powder and cured meat. Lush, velvety and deep, with dark fruit flavors joined by sweet mocha on the back end. Tannins are supple. From young vines, but obviously a promising site.
