($123) Medium red. Exotic raspberry preserve, mocha and molasses aromas are brightened by vibrant minerals. The palate shows the sweetness of red berry liqueur but offers remarkable freshness and clarity, picking up an exotic orange peel quality on the long, sappy finish. This boasts amazing vibrancy for a late-harvest wine and makes most Banyuls, for example, seem oafish. (Fine Estates from Spain, Dedham, MA)
