($30; a blend of 45% tempranillo, 25% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot and 15% mando) Good full ruby. Reticent, slightly rustic aromas of currant, graphite and leather. Dense, juicy, sweet and penetrating, with rather wild flavors of currant, licorice and leather. Very chewy if youthfully tight wine, but the tannins are ripe.
