($43) Medium red. Bright aromas of plum, cherry, underbrush and minerals. Smooth, ripe, suave and pliant, with noteworthy volume and complexity for New Zealand pinot. Much more than simply about fruit. The spicy, slow-mounting finish features building but even tannins.
