About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

($55) Light gold. Bright, mineral-accented melon and lichee aromas are deepened by floral honey. Firm on the palate, with fresh citrus and exotic fruit flavors supported by a racy minerality. The firm finish shows surprisingly expansive melon and orange flavors and impressive length. A very good showing today.
