About Domaine Weinbach
Domaine Weinbach was established in 1610 by the Capuchin monks who also gave their name to the domaine's most prized vineyard, Clos des Capucins. The estate itself got the name Weinbach--which literally translates to "wine brook"--from a little stream that trickles through the property.

($71; 13.3% alcohol with 48 grams of sugar) Palish yellow. Pink grapefruit, flower blossoms and intense spiciness on the expressive nose. Wonderfully pliant and opulent on the palate, with terrific depth of spicy fruit and juicy balancing acids. Impressively pure and rich for the variety and the vintage. Finishes very long and thoroughly ripe. A great success.
