Dark red. Inviting nose combines exotic berries, plum, sandalwood and nutty, smoky oak. Smooth and sweet but shapely and firm, thanks to a mineral edge. Not yet showing much complexity but the tannins are ripe and firm. (Pasternak Wine Imports, Greenwich, CT)
