Dark red. Redcurrant, roasted plum, tobacco and earth, complicated by hints of chocolate and truffle. Supple and generous, with mouthfilling flavor of sweet currants. The most striking thing about this wine was it's unique fragrance. It was hard for me to put my finger on it, but I finally settled on the scent of roasted lamb. Flavorwise, light and soft, with mild tannins and herbal accents on the finish. Intriguing if nothing else.
