($34) Bright ruby-red. Red cherry, licorice and herbs on the nose, along with a superripe nutty suggestion. Plump and sweet in the mouth, with a hint of overripeness to the rather developed red berry fruit; less complex than the Canoe Ridge Estate bottling. Finishes with substantial building tannins.
