90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2006

($30) Bright, deep ruby-red. Aromas of black cherry, cassis, cherry pit, nutty oak, cinnamon and nutmeg, lifted by a peppery nuance. Broad, plush and sweet, but with tangy acids giving focus and energy to the fruit and spice flavors. Velvety, suave, expansive wine, finishing with building ripe tannins, persistent sweet fruit and an impression of vibrancy.
