Producer: Januik Winery
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin: Washington
Region: Columbia Valley
89 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2007
($30; includes bits of merlot, cab franc and petit verdot; mostly from Red Mountain fruit) Good deep red-ruby. Claret-like aromas of redcurrant and tobacco. Polished, silky and suave, with sweet red berry flavors complemented by nutty oak. Rather plush and fine-grained, but kept fresh by nicely integrated ripe acidity. A fairly sophisticated style of cabernet for the price.
