($67) Dark ruby-garnet with violet highlights and a fading rim. Blackberry, smoke and intense new oak aromas of cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. The blackberry fruit shows a slightly roasted aspect and some exotic spices follow on the finish. An elegantly styled wine with firm, fine-grained tannins. Drink 2006 to 2015.
