Saturated red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, black cherry, tobacco, leather and roasted oak, with a hint of gunflinty reduction. Broad, round, large-scaled and densely packed; sweeter than the Malbec Verdot. The flavors of currant, plum, leather, chocolate and tobacco are ripe, pliant and expressive, but sound acidity gives the wine very good vinosity. Finishes with sweet, fine tannins and noteworthy persistence.
