($12) Deep, bright red. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the nose, with sexy violet and rose accents. Sweet red berry flavors are sharpened by notes of cracked pepper and lifted by tangy minerality. Finishes firm and chewy, with a bright redcurrant note. Suave and focused for the category, as usual. This cuvee has a good track record for aging.
