Lots of lime rather than the usual pears in most Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs. Very crisp and fizzy with a fair amount of acidity.

The epitome of a NL Sav Blanc

This is more of a summer wine but works nicely to refresh early in the meal; perfect with a flat fish or even sushi. It has a distinctive citrus edge with just enough fruit to balance. The acid is there with a nice mineral edge. This under $20 white is very nice and one of WS top 100 and on the Bobby Flay wine by the glass list. Compliments to the somellier for this selection. Very nice; quite a contrast to the Kim Crawford style. Two nice contrasts for a taste test at home.

Juicy, tart and balanced. Grapefruit, passion fruit and lime with some mineral undertones. Long finish. Lively and refreshing. Highly recommended.

Crisp with a long acidic finish. Sweet fruity flavors that only come through when this wine is just below room temp. All you'll taste is the acid if you over chill this wine. Not on my "A" list.
