($146) Medium red. Pungent violet- and lavender-accented raspberry and redcurrant aromas. Then deep and rich on the palate, with concentrated, pure cherry and blackberry flavors and a good dose of graphite and black olive. Rich for sure, but with impressive energy and focus too. Finishes with mouthwatering acidity and excellent length.
