($65) Deep ruby. High-toned aromas of kirsch, licorice and walnut. Then suave, dense and pure, with slightly high-toned flavors of black fruits and licorice. The finish displays sweet tannins and excellent length, with subtle lingering notes of black cherry, licorice and nuts. (Allied Domecq Wines USA, Healdsburg, CA)
