($150) Dense ruby. Exotic, utterly captivating aromas of blackberry and black cherry liqueur, raspberry jam, star anise, smoked meat and fresh flowers. Lush red and dark berry flavors are perked up by Asian and Moroccan spice notes, with subtle acidity giving added lift and solid, polished tannins providing a firm structural underpinning. The very long finish features fresh dark fruit tones that don't let up.
