($40; just 70 cases produced this year, less than half of normal) Deep red. Dark berry and cassis notes on the nose, with hints of white pepper, mace and rose. Quite sweet on the palate, with a tangy edge to the blackberry and blackcurrant flavors. Still very young and wound up but this has enticing energy to go with its sweetness.
