85-88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2006

(45% cabernet sauvignon, 43% merlot, 10% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot) Bright full ruby. Aromas of crushed cherry and raspberry. Supple but quite classically dry, even a bit peppery. Distinctly old-fashioned wine, finishing with slightly tough tannins but good persistence. (The '04 showed good fruit intensity but was a bit too lean and green to recommend.) Graves/Pessac-Leognan
