($150-$250) Deep ruby. Wonderfully perfumed nose offers cassis, minerals, tobacco, flowers, mocha and truffle. Bright, mineral-driven and concentrated, with terrific underlying backbone giving energy and definition to the dark berry, mineral and chocolate flavors. There's a floral lift here that's exhilarating to find in the very ripe 2005 vintage. Finishes very long and classy, with a firm tannic spine. An outstanding vintage for this wine.

Deep blackberry cassis tobacco flowers light mocha and truffle,Big time mouth coating tannans with a intense floral uplift, then a 70 second length finish wow! This wine got alot of depth with all those heavy nice tannans. If you drink this wine now decant for 4 hours pour wine back in bottle let sit for 7 to 10 hours, uncork then enjoy this powerful deep dense Elegant wine.Red wine tasting sheet score= 94.6 to 95.1 Still tight needs till 2015 to 2020 really have that floral uplift. You can drink the 2002 and 2004 NOW if you want to save you from killing the 2005 so young.

This amazing vintage from an incredible producer, needs another 7-10 yrs to fully mature. But, it will be worth the wait. Also, try the 2000 vintage. That is only 2-5 yrs from being ready.
