About Chateau Lafite-Rothschild
Chateau Lafite-Rothschild has been sitting at the top of Bordeaux wine lists since the 17th century. Purchased by the Rothschild family in 1868, Lafite has seen it all over the years, from epidemics of phylloxera to German occupation during World War II. Today, Lafite continues to produce some of the finest, and most expensive, wines in the world.

($145-$335) Good deep red. Pungent aromas of currant, cherry skin, leather, graphite, olive and flowers. Suave, minerally and penetrating, with lovely energy and floral lift. Not at all a fleshy style but classic, vibrant and firmly built, finishing with excellent lift.
