About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2005 Domaine William Fevre Chablis
Producer: Domaine William Fevre
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
88 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2006
($25) Bright lemon-yellow color. Fresh nose combines peach, spice, menthol and hazelnut, along with a suggestion of dried fruits. Fat, round and quite dry, with the exotic hint carrying through in the mouth. But this fresh, juicy Chablis possesses excellent richness of fruit for its appellation.
