($40) Ruby-red. Pungent, smoky red berry fruit is reminiscent of pinot noir, with complicating mineral notes adding energy and vivacity. Silky and pliant in texture, showing vivid raspberry and blackberry qualities on the palate, with a floral pastille note adding interest. Finishes with sexy baking spice tones and supple tannins. This is primary right now, but awfully delicious.
