(disgorged April, 2012):  Bright gold.  A smoky, musky bouquet evokes citrus pith, orchard fruits and white flowers, with anise and mineral accents adding complexity.  Taut and linear on the palate, offering sappy lemon and pear flavors that gain flesh with air.  Finishes on a slightly tart note, with good mineral cut and a subtle floral nuance.

The fruit is a very subtle tart-pear, balanced with a lot of bubbles and a soft, dry finish. Very enjoyable and well worth the price.
