($27; mostly tempranillo, with graciano) Bright ruby. Primary cherry and dark berry skin aromas are complemented by notes of pipe tobacco, licorice and smoky Indian spices. Juicy and focused, offering sweet cherry-vanilla and cola flavors and a bright shot of minerality. An extremely fresh wine with excellent finishing cut. This isn't showing much age at all; in fact, this is downright primary.
