90(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2007

($48) Inky violet. Powerful, floral-accented cherry and anise aromas are complicated by sexy oak spices. Big and chewy, with deeply concentrated kirsch and blackcurrant flavors. Firm tannins clamp down on the finish, suggesting that this needs a few years of aging. Serious stuff. (Fine Estates from Spain, Dedham, MA)
