($44; 48% garnacha, 15% each of cabernet sauvignon and merlot, 12% syrah and 10% carinena) Deep ruby color. Ripe cherry and floral aromas are complicated by baking spices and smoky minerals; already showing a lot of complexity on the nose. Taut red berry and bitter cherry flavors are framed by dusty tannins and energized by tangy minerality. A precise wine that impresses with elegance rather than power. From young vines.
