($17) Pale yellow-green, with a very fine mousse Reticent nose reveals a less floral and more mineral set of aromas than the Crede, with hints of jasmine and honeysuckle. Also less effusively fruity on the palate, with restrained apricot and white peach flavors. Overall a less forthcoming style of wine but one that leaves your mouth fresh and clean. Finishes quite dry, with moderate persistence.

About Italy

Italy, like France, offers a world of wine styles within a single country: dry Italian white wines ranging from lively and minerally to powerful and full-bodied; cheap and cheerful Italian red wines in both a cooler, northern style and a richer, warmer southern style; structured, powerful reds capable of long aging in bottle; sparkling wines; sweet wines and dessert wines.
