90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2006

($69) Dark ruby-garnet wine with a nearly opaque core and violet highlights. Aroma of dark berries and cedar-smoked meat. Elegant but youthfully compact, with firm tannins currently masking the dark berry and lightly leafy flavors. Finishes with a hint of bitter chocolate. This needs time to harmonize and soften. Drink 2008 to 2012.
