This was a Christmas gift for me from my son and his girlfriend. Oh boy, I am not a wine expert, but I know what I like and this is what I always thought a really astounding wine should tast like. I am already dropping hints about a birthday bottle!

A serious & brooding wine. Quite dark, with gamey, earthy & dense blackfruit flavors. Sturdy tannins and a dry, slightly gritty character. Save this one for five years from now and drink with something red and bloody.
