This is not the best Amarone I've had, but it is a classic, full bodied, dark fruits, with just a slight hint of raisin, thick, viscous, high alcohol, super-extracted wine. Not necessarily for everyone, but I love this stuff. Especially with dishes made with moderately strong hard cheeses such as Piave, Italian Asiago, Montasio, or Regianno Parmesan.
