($99) Good full red. Complex nose melds plum, truffle, underbrush and leather; wilder and more gamey than the 2003. Sweeter and deeper, too, with a sappy character and a saline nuance to its rich, soil-driven flavors. Supple and full in the mouth. Finishes very long, with serious, toothcoating tannins.
