($80) Good medium red. Medicinal nose is locked up tight today. Then ripe and sweet in the mouth, with noteworthy depth and intensity of material. Firm acidity gives shape to the black cherry and menthol flavors. Finishes with suave tannins and lovely breadth and chewiness. Nicely ripe and balanced for this cru and long on the aftertaste. From a cooler southeast exposure.
