(a very warm amphitheater vineyard) Medium red, with amber highlights. Minty nose is hiding its fruit. Reasonably sweet and fine-grained but at the same time in a rather muscular, bound-up style, showing more of a minty medicinal character than fresh fruit. Tough going today, in fact a bit hard for a wine from La Morra, with its structure dominating. Finishes with dusty tannins and very good length.
