2004 Albino Rocca Barbaresco

Angelo Rocca's focus is on Barbaresco, where the bulk of his vineyards are located. He takes the lion's share of the responsibilities in the vineyards and the cellar at this estate, which has been in his family's hands since the beginning of the 20th century. But Rocca also makes consistently excellent Dolcetto done in stainless steel and an often outsized Barbera from ideally situated 50-year-old vines, aged in a combination of barriques and larger casks.
