($20; for 500 ml.) Saturated ruby. Smoky dark berry liqueur aromas are deepened by a raisiny quality. Medium-bodied and quite sweet, but the oily, ripe blackberry and bitter cherry flavors are firmed by gentle acidity. Finishes with a bite of rooty licorice and excellent cling.
