($40) Saturated ruby. Fresh dark berries and cola on the nose, with suave oak spices and vanilla adding complexity. Fresh blackberry and blueberry flavors are clean and precise, gaining depth with air. Generous but also nicely focused, with impressive finishing clarity and sweetness. (The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA)
