($60) Bright gold. Intensely perfumed, spicy bouquet of pit fruits, melon, white asparagus and pungent herbs. Supple honeydew and peach flavors stain the palate and are enlivened by zesty minerality. A firm, tensile example of chardonnay, with admirable focus and finishing cut-not to mention balance.
