91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2008

($81) Deep ruby. Wild, smoky bouquet evokes ripe raspberry, kirsch and tobacco, with a strong mineral and cured meat undertow. Ripe red berries are firmed by juicy tannins, which carry through the finish. Becomes sweeter with air but this is distinctly sauvage and built to age.
