About Bonny Doon Vineyard
Iconoclast Randall Grahm made his name as one of the original Rhône Rangers in California. When he purchased land in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the early ‘80s his dream was actually to develop great American Pinot Noir. This feat temporarily eluded him, but what he developed was a knack for lesser-grown, Mediterranean varieties.

($32; 50% grenache, 24% mourvedre, 22% syrah, 3% carignane and 1% cinsault; 13.5% alcohol) Full red. Deep, smoky aromas of raspberry, cherry, tobacco, underbrush and mocha. Sweet and silky, offering open-knit red fruit flavors complicated by suave baking spices and vanilla bean. Finishes with lingering red fruits and spices.
