($50) Deep ruby. Utterly primary aromas of crushed blackberry and kirsch Then almost surprisingly sweet and broad, with a nutty element complicating its powerful dark fruit and floral flavors. A huge, thick wine that finishes with big but thoroughly ripe tannins and terrific lingering sweetness.
