($275; for 375 ml.) Rich golden yellow. Somewhat musky aromas of apricot, candied pineapple and clove rise above the honeyed botrytis. Full-bodied caramelized papaya fruit inundates the palate. The finish is succulent and sweet, with a saline minerality ensuring brightness. Is this any better that the gold capsule auslese? Still closed, but offers superb potential.
