89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2008
($38-$48) Bright golden-yellow. Pear and spice on the nose, with complicating suggestions of custard cream, butter and papaya. Supple and smooth on entry, then creamy and soft in the middle, with flavors of banana, mango and candied citrus peel complemented by a dollop of sweet oak. This is hardly shy in its coat of vanilla or its alcohol content, yet it manages to come across as focused and reasonably light on its feet.
