2005 Domaine Albert Boxler Pinot Blanc Reserve

Currently run by Jean Boxler, the grandson of Albert, this domain produces structured, concentrated, mineral-driven Rieslings with texture, weight and cellaring potential. Boxler benefits from holdings in two of the region's best grand crus for Riesling. Quality outweighs quantity for this winemaker; the domain consists of only 26 acres, all farmed organically by Boxler. Look also for high-quality wines made from "less than noble" varietals; there is fine Chasselas and Sylvaner here.
