($56) Good deep red. Sexy, pure aromas of cherry, menthol and underbrush. Supple, vinous and fine-grained, with a sneaky sweetness in the middle palate. Pure, sharply detailed, nicely balanced wine with a rising finish and firm spine. An excellent basic Barolo bottling.
