($15) Bright red-ruby. Medicinal cherry complicated by flint, pepper and tar on the nose. Juicy, tightly wound and light on its feet despite hinting at liqueur-like warmth. This fresh, fruity wine finishes with suave, fine-grained tannins and a suggestion of leather.
