(from 65-year-old vines in the cool Templeton Gap) Good deep red. Cool, complex aromas of blueberry, kirsch and menthol, complemented by minerality. Superconcentrated, creamy and sweet, but with the firm acidity to leaven the wine's liqueur-like fruit. Wonderfully sappy grenache of considerable power. Finishes with building tannins and superb length.
