2005 Pecchenino Siri D'Jermu Dogliani

Bright red-ruby. Pure aromas of dark cherry, licorice and mint, complicated by exotic Indian spices. Suave on entry, then dense and silky for 2005, with impressive palate presence. Sweet flavors of dark cherry, minerals and licorice are enlivened by bright acidity. This is almost voluptuous yet remains light on its feet thanks to its elegance and balance. Finishes with very smooth but firm tannins and excellent length.
