2005 Ruffino Cabreo La Pietra

It's tough to miss the Ruffino brand in stores, for there's a wide variety of options out there from this large, historic Tuscan estate. The Romitorio Supertuscan (Merlot and Colorino) is fine, but Ruffino's Riserva Ducale Oro is one of Italy's best wines for the money, and a great find on any restaurant wine list. Recent vintages seem to be moving toward a more international taste.
